David has designed and invented many products used by industry to contain spills and firewater runoff. He was an active member of the steering group responsibile for CIRIA 736, Containment systems for the prevention of pollution 2014. During this time he developed "spill mapping" as a means of evidencing a sites ability to manage a major environmental incident. David has written several free tips booklets including "Making Pollution Prevention Pay".
